The Function Grid is the cornerstone of most HR processes. It is used to design work and organization, support pay structures and define career paths, all of them essential instruments for optimizing the capacity of our staff and improving the quality of our operations.
The International Reference Field Function Grid is the result of a professional classification of all MSF
field functions from Head of Mission to Watchman.
Using a common set of weighting criteria agreed by all MSF Operational Centers. (OCs)
We evaluate jobs to establish a credible and consistent hierarchy between them and to differentiate
internal contributions.
This website is updated regularly to provide you with the latest versions of the IRFFG and Job Profiles.
